The essence of Cisco training is to stay connected and to teach its trainees how to establish connections. It is available at different levels of certification:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA)
CCNA is the lowest of the certification and it increases in relevance and certification towards CCNP and CCDA. For the CCNA certification, the skills that are taught are the small scale skills of networking small homes and offices. A CCNA certified professional knows how to install both local and wide area networks.
A CCNP on the other hand is more skilled in networking than a CCNA professional. The person knows how to install and configure more complex network. The same goes for the CCDA professional who is the most skilled.
